We were lucky to catch up with Jeanne Logan recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jeanne thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Understanding the mission:
The goal is not to stop at a tea shop, but to have my own health food store, farm to table tea shop and cafe. I come from southern cooking, tag line High blood pressure, but not always true, because a lot of exercise was a normal routine when partaking of such meals. Now it’s not always what you bring to table, that’s determines our health outcome, but how you bring it. We can learn to enjoy our southern roots or our roots with a twist of health. The meaning behind my mission is to understand our health numbers first, not just the outer slender body. It all fails into place-inside out first. My thoughts
I have some health challenges and have overcome many, through healthy choices. But it’s bigger than me, it’s how we view food and our relationship with food and those around us. We as the producer of products and the regulation of what is deem ok for consumption has to be better. It is my mission to make us aware, offer healthy choice, but not excluded those who are not ready for change. If they stick around long enough the change will come. We are all on a journey to be better by doing better.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hello, my name is Jeanne Logan. From a young age, my mother introduced me to the joy of cooking. As she sipped on her herbal tea, I witnessed the magic of turning simple ingredients into something delicious. Food and tea have become my way of expressing myself, as they possess a magical and soulful quality that brings life to our senses.
I am a self-taught chef, a passionate food enthusiast, a dedicated researcher, and an advocate for the culinary arts. Alongside my love for food, I hold a BS Degree in Business Administration and I am a Certified Small Business Entrepreneur. Additionally, I am a Certified Natural Health Professional.
One of my recent achievements is the establishment of my online tea business, Table Destiny House of Tea. As I sit and enjoy a cup of Divine tea, I am reminded of the beginning of my tea journey when I received my first tea set as a gift on my sixth birthday. From that moment, I fell in love with tea pots, tea cups, and all the delicate elements that accompany tea parties. However, my love for tea goes beyond the aesthetics. As I grew older, I delved into the powerful history of tea and discovered its numerous medicinal benefits for the body.
To this day, my passion for tea remains strong. I take pleasure in sharing a cup of tea with friends, family, and newcomers alike, because I firmly believe that “what you bring to the table will determine your destiny.” Join me on this tea journey, and together we can enlighten our minds, nourish our souls, and empower our bodies.
I created my own line of teas which are premium organic teas. A few things that set me apart,
is my customer service, how i prepare and blend my teas, also I have created a tea coffee blend for those who are not all the way tea drinkers. The main thing my customers should know is I’m a resource for a healthier/better choice for a healthier body. I’m always sharing and offering good information for the body.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
There is nothing like first-hand experience. My first thought is, there’s no lesson I had to unlearn, every lesson learned has been beneficial in some way. Second thought is it takes a lot of money to start a business. That may be true, but I didn’t have a lot of money, only dreams, ideals which never came about because of what I believed. How I unlearned my hinderance, I took a leap of faith, I was position, in the right place at the right time with the right intention. More so, I always wanted to do what I’m doing, I just needed to get out of the way of me. Lesson unlearned
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Although I worked a traditional job, I always desired to work for myself. My journey had a lot of turns in the road of life, the new saying “Life be Life-ing” for better or worse through sickness and death. Even though thru the bends and turns, there is a destination ahead. Resilience is a key character one needs in the toolbox of life. Caring for my dad and mother until their deaths, my sister until her death. Raising five children, eight grandchildren, second marriage with more adult children and grandchildren, dreams and goal can get blurry along the way, Kinda like Fresno fog. But the Sun does shine and burn off the fog, and the “Son” with Resilience burns off the fog of life.
I finished my adult education at 60 years old, my BS Degree in Business Administration and Certified Small Business Entrepreneur. Additionally, I am a Certified Natural Health Professional. The Plan; Retirement 6 months go back to work and help fund that dream, that business, that Tea Shop, that Health Food Store. The Fog rolled back in, and I had the pleasure of taking care of my sister until her death, brain cancer. Thank God for Retirement at the right time for a good reason (my sister). Many more turns and bends in the road, my dream is here. No more bends and turns. One day I was in the right place at the right time unknowing to me. Just being me, trying to be of service to my friend, and the opportunity was presented and I set here today in my Tea Shop phrase 1.
Few hills ahead, but I’m resilient. I got this and HE has me right in HIS Hands!
